Bhuvana is the author and owner of the blog EverythingTraditional.
She is an engineer by study and is blessed with a sweet daughter and supportive
husband. Brought up in silicon city Namma
Bengaluru.
She cultivated
interest in traditional cooking, as this was unique in every house. She learnt(heard)
traditional cooking from her 80 yrs old grandmother(late), which was mixed up with
her story tag. Her mother is also a great cook, speciality in traditional dishes. Not to forget her Mother-in-Law who was also a wonderful cook, she was expert in preparing puliyogare gojju, pickles, papads, spice powders many more storable foods.

“Hi !!! I am Bhuvana, I
got all the traditional or regular daily cooking written down in a diary from
my aunty (dad’s sister) when I got married. This was the guide for cooking. In recent
past I cultivated interest in cooking all the recipes that was forgotten or
very rarely cooked at home. This gave a good experience and taste, decided to
share it with all the new cooks out there and people who love traditional food.
I like to keep the recipes very simple and easy so that everyone gets interest
in cooking my recipes. Hope you will like my recipes as much as I like. Let the
journey of cooking begin, Happy Cooking!!!”
Proud About
Inspired by my dad and
grandmother both traditional lovers, started this blog. I will post some of their narrations. Dad
being retired Army official, served in Armed force for about 25 years and was part of Major Military Operations of his times. Even today
he can narrate about his experiences on war field and in army camps with the
unfaded interest and thrill.
