We’ve always believed that traditional food is not about long hours in
the kitchen. Here is a simple, easy and quick traditional sweet recipe
that even a beginner can make effortlessly – traditional easy

This is the way my mom use to make and even now she follows the same.
When I said very simple, the ingredients are few and mostly available at
home and making is very easy because it involves very few steps and can be
made within 10 to 15 minutes.
Rava ladoo when I say, I only remember ‘Chotha Bheem’ on cartoon,
he is so fond of ladoo’s that he can do anything to procure laddu’s. Same
here I am very fond of this Rava ladoo and I believe all kids are fond of
these delicious Rava laddu.
Rava laddu is infact a festive dish but when made other times it can be a
great after-meal-sweet for people with sweet tooth like me. I and my dad
wanted to eat sweet after every meal; my mom would make rava ladoo and
also coconut burfi and stock it in the box. Now my daughter has also
picked up from our genes to grab on some sweet after meal. My mom
preferred Rava ladoo only because this can be prepared with less effort
and can also be stored for many days. We prefer home-made sweets more
often like ladoo recipe/laddu recipe.
Yes, Rava laddu / rave unde can be made with various ingredients, sugar
syrup, dry coconut, milk, condensed milk, ghee, jaggery, Kova. I have
used only Sooji or semolina, Sugar, ghee and milk and some dry fruits
for the crunch. I do not go for sugar syrup instead use powdered sugar
which makes the rava laddu recipe faster. And use milk to make ladoo or
balls easy and soft.
Do try rava laddu this simple method, sure you will not miss to do them
often. If anyone craves for home-made-healthy-snack for travel
Rava ladoo / rave unde is the best option.
