How to make simple and easy Beans Palya recipe | Beans Stir fry 


Beans or Huruli-kaye palya can be made this simple!  to compliment with sambar rice or rasam rice. Tasty home preparation with just few ingredients and also quick to make. 


With just 3 main ingredients beans, chillies and coconut you can make tasty side dish. You need to chop them finely to get better taste.


Beans is used in sambar, vegetable bath, bassaru, sagu and many more south Indian recipes, and stir fry can be made with many more ingredients as well like onions, jeera and coconut paste but this stir fry is the simplest and easiest without compromising on the taste.

How to make simple and easy Beans Palya recipe | Beans Stir fry 


Cuisine: Indian / South Indian

Cook time: 10 minutes


Ingredients for Beans Stir Fry 

  1. Beans   - 1/4 Kg.
  2. Coconut Grated - 2 Tablespoons 
  3. Curry leaves 

For Seasoning 
  1. Oil - 2 teaspoons
  2. Mustard - 1/4 teaspoon
  3. Jeera / Cummin - 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Red chillies - 3
  5. Urad dal - 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Chana dal - 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions  

  1. Wash and Chop beans very finely

  2. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a deep fry pan and add mustard and jeera 

  3. Add urad and channa da and fry till color changes 

  4. Add red chillies, curry leaves and finely chopped beans 

  5. Stir well and add salt 
  6. Add in very little water about 1/4 cup and leave it to cook 

  7. Once vegetable is cooked add  in grated coconut and give a good mix and switch off the flame

  8. Beans stir fry is ready to serve 


Note:

Can also add finely chopped coriander
